It was very enjoyable to work with C4. I appreciated the skill from both Travis and Sarah as facilitators. I also appreciated that you took the time to listen to my goals for the group and worked hard to accommodate them. It was particularly evident in each of the debrief/processing sessions. I also appreciated the importance you placed on the processing and your willingness to allow me to jump in if needed. Most of the time I didn’t have much to add, but it was great to have the option.

Overall, I think the day was fabulous! I will definitely use you again next year.

Thanks again for allowing the PR Volleyball program to experience your Ropes/Adventure course.? Your staff was very encouraging, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.?? This experience was very important and rewarding for the team, but individually as well.? There were so many trust, confidence, courage and team-building activities that were available to us.? This was a very rewarding experience for students, and so close to home!? Thanks for working with us to make it happen this year.? My only regret is that I didn’t get it done earlier in the season – pre-season would be awesome but that was on us – scheduling!? We look forward to working with you again!

Well, we made it back home and the kids never stopped talking about our trip to northern Minnesota and the adventure on the ropes course.? We have taken a number of family trips and have seen all kinds of attractions, but the Character Challenge Course ranks at the top of their list!? What you have will certainly become one of the biggest tourist attractions in northern Minnesota.? We got to thinking; what made it so special?

1. Your caring and supportive and knowledgeable staff- We felt taken care of and they had a very engaging personality.

2. The thrill! Its not everyday that you can ride a zipline or take a big Giant Swing. I know there are many things to do in Northern Minnesota, but none that offer an opportunity to do these things.

3. The opportunity for our family to share the experience.? So many times, our family ends up doing different activities because of their age differences and likes and dislikes.? What you told me on the phone is so true, you have something for everyone!

We thank the Character Challenge Course for the this most amazing family entertainment.? We will continue to make this a yearly tradition.?

Travis & Sarah,
I’ve been on 2 of these types of courses in my adult life (Mankato State University, Oakridge in Chaska), and I have to say that what you have created is as creative and dynamic as anything I have seen. You have more activities than most, the construction is top notch, and the setting is beautiful.

Although I was not able to participate (I will this summer), I did watch as you both prepared and briefed the participants for the course. I felt you were very engaging, professional, efficient, and thorough. I could tell that the safety of the participants was very important to you and the team. It gave me a lot of comfort, as a parent and a husband, to know that Justin and Charla would be just fine up on the course.

What I love about these types of activities is that they allow people to experience things that are completely beyond normal life. I know that when people challenge themselves to climb high, let go of solid ground, etc, they do develop more confidence, more resolve, greater strength of mind, and they become stronger people. For some, the change might last only a few weeks, for others, it lasts a lifetime.

My son Justin has been on the ropes course at Eagle Bluff as part of a school activity. When he returned from his trip I didn’t really notice a difference in him. In comparison, after being on the Character Challenge Course, I have seen a difference in Justin. He does have more confidence and he has opened up in subtle ways with me.? I can’t wait to get there this summer and spend time with Justin on the course as I know it will further develop our bond as father and son.

Thanks again for accomodating my middle school group at your facility on Friday.? I know it was a big group and probably a logistical headache for you but I wanted to let you know what a great time they had.? I did a follow-up questionaire with everyone to see how they liked the day, and if they would do anything different.? I also asked them if given the opportunity, would they want to come back again, and not one student had a negative response.??

I really hope that this is an opportunity I can bring to my kids in future?years.? You have a very professional group that enjoys being around the kids and it made the trip worth the time and effort.? Thanks again Travis.

We had a blast and it was really good for our team.? We were discussing how we thought the low elements were really good for the team b/c in Cross Country you don't have to work together to figure out plays like in bball or fb, so it was cool to challenge them to work together like that.

Us coaches were also discussing how well you and your staff related what we did to sports and goals.? because you, yourself, is a former college athlete, you were able to communicate well with things they understand and what can help them, and it didn't sound fake or cheesy :-)? We appreciated that a lot.

Thanks a ton for working with us, and making us a combo package with Low and high...it was just perfect.? We really want to make this an annual thing.
